WHAT WE BELIEVE
GOD: We believe in the one True and Living God who eternally exists
in three equal persons working in unity: The Father, The Son Jesus
Christ and The Holy Spirit.
THE FATHER: We believe that God the Father is the CREATOR of LIFE
and is the Designer and Author of the Human Race created in His IMAGE,
for the purpose of fellowship.
JESUS CHRIST: We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and
that He is the only begotten Son of God the Father. We believe in His
virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in the eternal
all-sufficiency of His atoning death on the Cross, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in
His personal future return to the earth in power and glory.
THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the reality of the Holy Spirit who
seeks to draw ALL people unto Jesus, to come and live within them, to
direct, to empower in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit evident through
the Gifts via the Fruits of the Spirit. He is the “REVELATOR” of Holy
Scripture and the hidden mysteries of God.
HOLY SCRIPTURE: We believe that the Authority of the Holy Bible is
the inspired Word of God and that all sixty six books therein contain
the Revelation of Jesus Christ revealing the Father’s Will and
Guidance for Our Lives.
SALVATION: We believe through the fall of Adam all persons are born
with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross was to redeem
mankind from the power of Sin and reconciliation unto God. It is the
conviction of the Holy Spirit and by repentance in faith through the
precious Blood of Jesus that brings Salvation. As it is only God who
can convict of Sin we abstain from forceful and man-made fearful
tactics of forcing people to make a decision through fear.
We believe the pattern set forth in the New Testament of the fivefold
ministry offices of firstly Apostle (Visionary), secondly Prophet
(Seer), third offices of Teacher (Enlightener), Pastor (Shepherd) and
Evangelist (Gatherer). Elders of Ministry, Elders of Service, Deacons,
etc. The purpose of the Church Government is threefold – to declare
through demonstration to the world a life surrendered unto God. To
help mature the believer in the freedom of Jesus Christ removing
strongholds of the mind including any wrong doctrine. To set in order
the Church for the coming of Lord Jesus Christ. It is through this
Government that disciples are made.
THE CHURCH: We believe in the need of a local assembly which is
part of the universal Church which is the Body of Christ (of which
Jesus is the Head). It is made up of all persons who have accepted
Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord. It is a place of Divine
purpose, a unified body of believers, in Covenant with God and each
other, of love, restoration, understanding, enlightenment where God is
foremost in their lives and gatherings. It’s the Church that was
birthed in Acts, meeting in houses and temples, wherever He may lead.
It’s a place of discovery, fulfillment and knowing God’s Presence.
WATER BAPTISM: We believe in the ordinance of water baptism
witnessed by others by full immersion in obedience to the Word of God
as Christ Himself. All persons who have accepted Jesus Christ as their
personal Saviour should be baptized in water as a public profession of
their faith in Christ and to experience what the Bible calls the
"circumcision of the Spirit" as a sign of being buried and rose with
THE LORD’S SUPPER: Jesus instituted the ordinance of the taking of
the Bread and Wine. While most churches would teach it is symbolic to
the Atoning Death of our Lord. We would also believe that it was set
as an altar of “Not my will be done but Yours!” Reminding each person
that they have choices like Christ but in surrender we declare, “I
will drink of this cup!” This altar is a place of reconciliation,
freshness, healing, joy and reminder of the covenant in that which the
Master has started in you He is well able to finish. We believe that
the Lord’s Supper should be observed as often as possible.
STEWARDS OF LIFE: We believe that all persons are the stewards of
their lives and resources, which ultimately belong to God. In the
privilege and responsibility of tithing and offering unto God in time,
service and money with a willing heart as a measure of obedience.
RECONCILIATION: We believe that Jesus came to not condemn but to
reconcile us back to the Father. It is through this that we reach out
to the fallen, to those who have been despised, rejected and abused
naturally and spiritually. Restoring them back into the Father’s
WORSHIP: We believe in a lifestyle of worship before our Lord,
referring to our actions, attitude and surrender unto Him. In coming
together this can also be manifested through song, ministry, prayer,
etc as the Spirit of God would lead. We believe that all worship is
only true in nature when led by the Spirit.
EVANGELISM: We believe that God wants each person from the young to
the old to be given a chance to know about our wonderful Saviour
Jesus. We believe that not everyone is called to an ‘office of an
Evangelist’ but each one as Scripture states should be ready to give a
word in season and to be committed to the “Great Commission,” of “Go
ye into all the world” which starts with our family, friends,
associates etc and share the good news.
ISRAEL: We believe that the state of Israel is in the plan of God
and that Jesus came firstly to save His own house Israel and then the
Gentile. We encourage believers to stand with Israel and where
possible to walk in the steps of the Master in Israel. To understand
God’s end-time plan regarding Israel.
